PLEASE stop using the Gorilla Glue!!! Scrape what glue you can off and use hide glue (fish /rabbit glue is for application of gold leaf) AND please don’t paint them if you must add gold dry brush on raised carvings. I’ve served apprenticeship for an antique conservator , hide glue is reversible and aides in ease of possible future repairs best wishes it’s a lovely set
